1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Konteks ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by James Almeida ("we", "us").

2. Description of Service

Konteks is an AI-powered personal knowledge and task management application available via web and mobile platforms. The Service includes task management, note-taking, AI-assisted planning, calendar integration, and AI agent connectivity features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person per account. Accounts are non-transferable.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Konteks (tasks, notes, projects, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your content for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

5. AI Features

Konteks uses artificial intelligence to provide planning, chat, and organizational features. AI-generated content (plans, suggestions, responses) is provided as-is and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on AI suggestions at your own discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
• Abuse, harass, or harm others through the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service beyond normal usage.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Konteks available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
